Christopher Collins-McNeil is Founder & Principal of The Collins-McNeil Group, LLC, a social impact and communications strategy firm headquartered in New York City. CMG builds brand, campaign, and organizational strategies in the context of the larger political, philanthropic, and cultural trends.
Prior to founding CMG, Christopher worked in strategic communications, media relations, and integrated marketing leading high-impact campaigns and partnerships for some of the country’s leading social, racial, and economic justice organizations. Christopher also developed distinctive public and government affairs strategies with Fortune 500 companies like AT&T and Uber. A specialist in political affairs by training, Christopher began his career at New York City Hall as Special Assistant to the Director in the NYC Mayor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
In 2021, Christopher was featured in BET x Doritos’ Amplify Black Voices, an ongoing initiative aimed at highlighting and investing in Black change-makers who drive culture and give back to their communities. During the 2020 election cycle, he served as a Policy Advisor to the Biden-Harris Presidential Campaign. In 2018, Christopher was recognized by City and State Magazine as New York's 40 Under 40 in New York politics. He is also the recipient of the President’s Award for Special Appreciation from the founding chapter of One Hundred Black Men, Inc.
Christopher remains civically engaged by serving on the boards of Transportation. Resources. Access (TRA) and The Lincoln Center Young Patrons Circle. Christopher received his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego, where he served as Student Association President and remains an engaged alumnus.
